The BLAST R6 Majors are the biggest international esports competitions in Rainbow Six Siege, organized and hosted by BLAST and Ubisoft. The Atlanta Major is the second and last Major of the 2023 Season, as w7m Esports clutched the win at the Copenhagen Major earlier this year.

Starting October 31, 24 of the best Rainbow Six Siege teams will assemble in Atlanta to compete for glory and the lion's share of the $750,000 prize pool, putting R6 on the esports grid. R6 Major Atlanta: Format

The BLAST R6 Major Atlanta will have three main stages: the Play-Ins Playoffs, and the Finals. 

Play-Ins: October 31 - November 1

  • 16 teams are split into four groups of four, each from a different region, in a GSL-style double-elimination bracket. 
  • Upper Bracket matches are Bo1, while Lower Bracket matches are Bo3. 
  • The top two teams from each group advance to the Play-Ins. 

Playoffs: November 3 - 7 

  • The eight teams from the play-ins join the eight pre-determined teams at the Playoffs. They all compete in a Swiss System format. 
  • All Elimination matches are Bo3, while other matches are Bo1. 
  • The top eight teams advance to the Finals. 

Finals: November 10 - 12

  • The BLAST R6 Major Atlanta Finals will be a single-elimination bracket at the Gas South Arena. 
  • The Quarter and Semifinals are Bo3. The Grand Final is Bo5.

The 24 best Rainbow Six Siege teams will compete in the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta, the second and last Major of the season. Eight teams have prequalified for the Playoffs stage, while the remaining 16 will duke it out in the first phase, the Play-Ins.
